| Black Cherry is world renowned for its beauty and working quality. We bring in all of our cherry from Pennsylvania, as this cherry has very limited to zero pitch pockets in this wood along with very uniform and even color. It will age to a wonderfully rich patina, given just a little sunlight. This is one of the reasons that it has long been the choice of fine furniture manufacturers and skilled crafts people. It is easy to see why it is so highly prized.
Our Black Cherry lumber is Select and Better grade that has been hand selected for color from Pennsylvania stock. You will find very minimal sap wood content in any of our Cherry lumber. Sap wood is not considered a defect according to the National Hardwood Lumber Association grading standards, but it is to us! We will only ship Cherry lumber that is FAS-1F grade or better, unless we discuss this with a customer prior to shipment. | Placing an order with McKinney Hardwood Lumber is very simple. To order lumber simply telephone us at (972)658-2130 with the lumber species/board footage requests. We charge a flat $4.95 for packaging orders to cover wrapping materials and supplies and help offset credit card charges incurred on actual shipping costs. Orders over $100.00 (not including actual shipping charges) will not be charged this packaging fee. We charge our customers actual shipping charges only for all orders over $100.00 in materials.
Provide us with your credit card and billing information and we will process your order and have it ready for shipment within 24 hours. We accept Discover, Master Card, Visa, cashier's checks, money orders and of course cash.  McKinney Hardwood Lumber guarantees your complete satisfaction with any lumber purchases from us.
